Hi everybody! I recently returned from a wonderful road trip with mostly just me, myself, and I. It was honestly an awesome experience and it was great to see so many friends/family along the way as well! If you have never traveled by yourself, I definitely recommend – it was a very enlightening experience.
I can’t wait to share this trip with you, so without further ado here is the first stop: Charlotte, NC.
First stop was the 7th Street Public Market. You know I always have to find a market! It was hard to decide where to eat with so many options, but I decided of course on Italian and got a Caprese salad – it was quite delicious if I do say so myself.
Another one of my favorite food stops was Amélie’s French Bakery & Café. It was a great place to duck into during the rainstorm and the hot chocolate wasn’t too bad either 😉
Lastly, while in Charlotte you have to of course visit some of the sports teams. It was offseason for football, but I did get to see my first NBA game!
I also visited some friends in Durham/Raleigh area, but we were having too much fun to take pictures! If you ever go I recommend the beet cider at Bull City Ciderworks in Durham – sounds weird, but it was delicious!
I hope that you enjoyed my first recap of my road trip – stay tuned for more 🙂
