Apple Sandwiches

AppleSand4

Hey everybody!  Around this time of year, I don’t know about you but I get super busy so I need a snack that satisfies me that’s also easy to make.  This is a great fall snack that is super quick to prepare.  It’s a great alternative to your typical “ants on a log”.  And bonus…it’s yummy too!  I hope that you enjoy!

Apple (1 makes 2 sandwiches)
Raisins
Peanut Butter

  1. Cut apples into ½ inch slices and cut hole in middle of slices to remove core.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one apple slice and then place the other apple slice on top to create a sandwich.
  3. Sprinkle raisins on sides.

These look so fun to make and eat! Peanut butter and apples are my favorite snack. I have never added raisins so I love this idea. I am really happy to see this is almost 5 grams of fiber since I am really making an effort to add eat more fiber.
