I got to do the neatest thing on my way to school this semester….Blueberry Picking. For the past three years, I have passed a blueberry farm on my way to and from school and have always wanted to stop. Unfortunately, blueberries were never in season when I drove by. Finally, this year the sign said “open!” I decided to stop and I am so glad that I did! It was a great experience and there is something very peaceful about walking through a blueberry field by yourself. It was the perfect way to start my senior year (ahh I still cannot believe that I’m a senior)!!! Here are some pictures from my adventures in the blueberry field:
At the end of my journey, in the blueberry field, I ended up with a ton of blueberries!!! I decided to look on Pinterest to find some recipes. I found one that is perfect for the start of school! “Blueberry Yogurt Bites” are a yummy and healthy snack to get you through the studying blues. This recipe only requires two ingredients too, blueberries and blueberry yogurt. Here’s the link so you can make them too; I promise you will not be disappointed!
Another cool place where I got to pick blueberries this summer was in my Aunt’s backyard. How awesome is that?!?!
