Two Smart Cookies

Happy Saturday everyone!! Hope you are all enjoying your day! Today I participated in my second Color Run. It was super fun, even though I am still a bit blue! Here’s a picture of me right after the race:

Recently, we had a bake sale for our Relay for Life team. I decided that I didn’t want to bake the typical cupcakes, cookies, or brownies. I wanted to go the gluten and sugar free route this time around. I googled and found some new recipes that looked interesting. I thought that both of the cookies turned out well and tasted great! Both of them were a hit at the bake sale. The coolest part was that people kept thanking me for thinking of their dietary needs. I have provided the links below for you so you can give them a try too! Make sure to let me know what you think!

Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

This recipe is gluten-free because no wheat, barley, or rye is used. I was a bit worried about this recipe, because I thought that they may not rise. However, they turned out exactly like all the other peanut butter cookies that I have ever made. The only thing with this recipe is that it has a lot of sugar in it. So I would recommend using an alternative like Splenda (I think that I will try this the next time I make them!)

Instead of sugar this recipe used Splenda. This is a great cookie to fill that chocolate craving we all have every once in a while. It also is super easy because there is no baking required!

Wow, a good cookie recipe with only 4 ingredients. I find the ratings on web recipes to be a good measure of how well they turn out. This one has 4.5 out of 5 stars so I plan to try it. Thanks for testing it.
